Q: How large is the University at Buffalo Speech-Language Hearing Clinic?
A: The University at Buffalo Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic is the largest university clinic in Western New York. Ten full-time supervisors responsible for the clinical training of graduate students in the Communicative Disorders and Sciences Department.

Q: How many speech-language pathology students provide services at the UB Clinic?
A: Approximately 60 Speech-Language Pathology students received clinic training in the UB Clinic. 8,500 clinical training hours were provided last year.

Q: How many audiology students provide services at the UB Clinic?
A: 10 first year Clinical Doctorate students in Audiology received clinic training in the UB Clinic. 1,250 clinical training hours were provided last year.

Q: What specialty clinics and services does University at Buffalo Speech and Hearing Clinic provide?

• UB provided speech-language and hearing screenings to approximately 750 children in WNY Head Start Programs in 2004 - 2005.
• In 2005 - 2006, the Center for Augmented Communication worked with 10 adults and 12 children with complex communication needs directly through UB's Speech and Hearing Clinic. In addition, CEAC consulted with 8 area schools and provided 7 inservices and workshops to various agencies in the Western New York area.
