Graduate Programs in Communicative Disorders and Sciences

The Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences offers the following graduate degree programs:
Master's in Communicative Disorders and Sciences (M.A.)*
Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) - a clinical degree.*
*The Master's Degree program in Communicative Disorders and Sciences in Speech/Language Pathology and the Doctor of Audiology programs are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation.
We also offer the Au.D.\M.B.A. program - must also apply and be accepted separately to the University at Buffalo's M.B.A. program - see details below.
Finally, the fourth degree offered by the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences is the Doctor of Philosophy in Communicative Disorders and Sciences (Ph.D.)
Note that individuals wishing to enter the graduate program need not hold a Bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders. Those students must satisfy the requirements of the make-up program by taking the necessary pre-requisite courses. Please see the Curriculum plans for details regarding makeup requirements.
